Site
The new Math and Science Building joins with the existing
library and three existing classroom buildings to give form
and definition to the Academic Quad. The building features
an octagonal meeting room, which provides a centralized focus
for the quad and adds a classical expression to the building
form.
Building
All new classroom and laboratory functions are organized around
a wide, skylit circulation hall. Every room receives natural
light from at least two sides as well as from above.
Materials
Standard light gauge steel construction with 4” CMU
veneer and exterior stucco finish, aluminum clad windows,
stucco, oak cabinetry and trim.
